You will find that the medical therapeutic massage we offer at the Laserina Clinic differs from what you have experienced before. If you are looking for a nice relaxing therapy, we are very sorry, but you will likely find our technique a bit too tough. Unlike the general full-body treatments aimed at relaxation, a medical massage is an outcome-based technique that vigorously and systematically targets a specific problem. It is focused on healing injuries, improving function, or increasing circulation.

medical therapeutic massage

Our independent Medical practitioner practices a deep tissue medical therapeutic massage, combining various techniques during a treatment session. Depending on your problem we may incorporate deep-tissue massage, myofascial release, trigger point work, various movement therapies or passive-resistive stretching techniques.

Customers seeking our massage therapies often suffer from long-term back problems, caused by a lack of blood supply to the muscles and spine. A lack of movement and incorrect use of muscles are usually the main cause - they reduce oxygen supply and lymphatic drainage resulting in aches and pains.

Frequent massage helps alleviate these issues by maintaining muscles supple and spine flexible. This ensuring that all body systems are balanced and remain in working order. Using both eastern and western knowledge, we offer the very best advice and treatments to everyone on a case by case basis.

Elements of spinal diagnostics allow viewing the body from many different angles to find the root cause of each condition. Every new client will receive a full consultation with a medical practitioner before commencing treatment. The treatment will start with physical observations and muscle testing.

Remedial massage may be also combined with the famous Chinese technique of cupping. It is typically used for the treatment of stubborn coughs and muscle inflammation.
