Intense Pulse Light Systems (IPL) offer the busy person that long term answer. IPL systems use light to destroy the hair root thus preventing re-growth, whilst the skin remains unharmed. The success of treatment depends on the selective absorption of light by the pigment in the hair, so it is essential that the hair is darker than the skin.
IPL treatments are quick and easy to perform. Large areas can be treated in a single session and a number of different areas can be treated. The procedure is relatively painless, and when compared to traditional methods (waxing, threading, sugaring) are far more “permanent”.
